I want some face time with you!
LGBTteetotalers Face to Face are recurring social/support calls for folks who are queer, trans or questioning and sober, sober curious, or in any kind of recovery. These are not recovery meetings, they’re a space for us to get together, socialize, and support each other with other people who understand our experiences.
I’ve been doing these calls once a week for almost a year now and they’re easily one of my favorite parts of the week, so I’m extra excited to be able to add more to the schedule in order to support folks during this time of social distancing. (I’m actually a pro at feeling connected while also mostly being at home alone. So stick with me, we’ll get through this!
My mission has always been to help create sobriety and recovery resources for the LGBTQIA+ community that are accessible for anyone, no matter where they live, so we all have a chance to see people who are like us in recovery so — let’s get together, see each other’s faces, hear each other’s voices, support each other and build community.
